The ‘Superyacht Base Gold Coast City™ industry cluster members have enjoyed a long close association with the Institute of Business Leaders for many years.

The Business Development Director, Peter Watkins, was the founding chairman of our incorporated group and through the I.B.L active network, established a strong founding membership base and set the precedent for the growth of the Superyacht Base Gold Coast City. 

The connections made through the I.B.L. networking events has no doubt been a great benefit in enabling us to promote our superyacht industry to the key people involved with Gold Coast business across a broad base.

More recently, we have been informed of developments relating to the Governments™ Broadwater to Southern Moreton Bay, Marine Infrastructure Master Plan.

The master plan steering committee involves representation from various key Government departments, key stakeholders and importantly, the Institute of Business Leaders.

On behalf of the committee and members of the Superyacht Base Gold Coast City, I extend our full support to the I.B.L. I am more than confident that out industry interests will be truly holistically represented.
